Hello my Chic Friends. Father's day is just around the corner. June 16 to be exact! and if you are like me, you spend a lot of thinking wondering what to gift to your husband, or father, or brother. The reason is that there is not a lot to choose in the guys department! therefore, the hunt for the perfect gift is much harder than mother's day gift. You must know that I love, love..... pencil skirts!. Today I wanted to wear my chevron pencil skirt with a peplum top. I think the two pieces together looked modern and chic, just the way I like it! and of course to make the outfit more polished I wore my nude pumps. Shall we see.....

The CFDA Awards 2013

Hello my Chic Friends. Last night was the biggest awards in the Fashion industry, The CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America) and as you know I have to dig and look for my favorites. Here are my ten best dressed and ten of my not so favorite because they could do more for the event!. By the way, it is ironic that some of my least favorite are designers! I meant if you have the ability to make such a nice, good looking, breathtaking garment why not dress to impress? I don't know maybe its just me. Shall we see......

Anoche fue uno de los premios más grandes en la industria de la moda, el CFDA (Municipio de Diseñadores de Moda en América) y como ya saben, empecé mi búsqueda para encontrar mis favoritas. I know what you're going to say, why you took so long to place her as a celebrity style Girl? -I would say it was very difficult because there are so many beautiful, talented, stylish woman in the industry that is horrible and at the same time wonderful to place them here on my blog.
Let me tell you a little about her even though I am sure you know maybe more about her life than myself. Sarah Jessica Parker was the style Icon in the HBO TV Series Sex and the City, follow by two movies from the series. Nevertheless, she first started in the Broadway Musical Annie. After that you must known her from the movie Footloose with Kevin Bacon. She is married to actor Matthew Broderick in which they have a boy named James Wilkie Broderick and twin girls (via surrogate) named, Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge. Shall we see her spectacular style!.....

Yo se que van a preguntarme el porque dure tanto para ponerla como una chica Celebrity Style? -Tendre que decir que ha sido bien dificil porque hay tantas mujeres hermosas, talentosas y con estilo en la industria que era horrible y al mismo tiempo maravilloso ponerlas en mi blog al mismo tiempo. Dejenme contarles un poco acerca de ella aunque estoy segura que ustedes saben y talvez mas que yo. Printed Sandals

Long Time no see you my Chic Friends. Its been wonderful here in Rhode Island (weather-wise) and I was so happy that I could wear my new printed sandals. I bought them at the end of last week and even though I want it to wear last weekend, I did not have the guts. Why? -I was in NYC and believe me, you do not want to wear heels unless you live there and are used to it. On the other hand, I love pencil skirts and I think it was the perfect time to do it and while going on the casual side, I paired it with a tank top. By the way, these babies are so comfortable that you will think you are walking in flats! I got a feeling these sandals are going to be my new staples during the summer. Shall we see......

Hace mucho tiempo que no los veo mis Amigos Chic. Ha estado bello aqui en Rhode Island (tiempo climático) y yo estaba tan feliz porque ya podía ponerme mis sandalias con prints. Las había comprado para fines de la semana pasada y aunque quería usarlas no tuve las entrañas de hacerlo. Porque? - Iba para la ciudad de New York y creanme que no van a querer usar tacones al menos que vivan en la ciudad y ya están acostumbrados. Por el otro lado, me gustan muchos las faldas al estilo lápiz y creo que era el tiempo justo para usarlas y para irme por el lado más casual me puse una franela. A propósito, estas niñas son tan cómodas que pensaran que están caminando en zapatos bajos! Tengo un presentimiento de que estas sandalias van hacer mis favoritas durante el verano. Vamos a ver.....
